December 20th, 2008

We would like to welcome three new programmers to the team: Mark Townsend, Rowan Beentje, and Stuart Connolly. Thanks guys!

We haven’t released a new version since October, so Sequel Pro 0.9.3 is jam packed with new fixes and usability features. This update is recommended for all users.

You can download a copy of Sequel Pro 0.9.3 (release notes) from the download page.

Add the FeedBurner RSS Feed to your RSS Reader to keep track of progress with the Sequel Pro project.

Guys, awesome job on this one. Welcome to all new devs.

Have a good one.

I just found this app. It’s really good, so definitely compliments to all of the developers involved!

Something odd missing, I noticed; where’s the “open file (*.sql)” and “save file (.sql)” options?

Joël: Thanks for the feedback. :)
Rob: I’m assuming that you are talking about an SQL dump file. The File menu structure has changed slightly since CocoaMySQL and it may not be where you are expecting it to be.

I have added your question to the Frequently Asked Questions page. Please take a look here: http://www.sequelpro.com/frequently-asked-questions.html#2.1

Cheers,

Excellent update! Feels a lot more stable to me, and the table information pane is very neat! Good job, keep it up!

Is this Open-Source? If so where id the source available, I’m interested in playing with the source a little.

Hi Stuart,

Yes, Sequel Pro is an open-source project. You can find instructions for checking out a copy of the source code here:

Can you guys believe I’ve never heard of Sequel Pro before?

How many devs out there are stuck with cocoamysql because they don’t know this app exists?

Jorge Garifuna

I think that it would be nice to have a feature that allows copying database tables directly from one host to another without the user having to go trough the dump process.

SQLYog already has this feature.
