Continuing the CocoaMySQL project

November 4th, 2008

We are now the official successor to the CocoaMySQL project.

Links to the final beta versions of CocoaMySQLand CocoaMySQL-SBG are available on the Release Archives page.

We have maintained a great deal of the information from the CocoaMySQL SourceForge website[cocoamysql.sourceforge.net] including screenshots, credits and general project information.

We would like to thank all of the contributors to the CocoaMySQL project, especially Lorenz Textor, for making this our favourite MySQL database management app on Mac OS X

What does the SBG stand for in the CocoaMySQL-SBG name? I have used an older version before, and still work in Panther alot. Was wondering whether the SBG designation represented a more stable version. Thanks for the help.

Happy New Year!

Hi Mark,

Happy New Year!

The SBG in CocoaMySQL-SBG refers to Stuart B. Glenn a Mac developer who forked the CocoaMySQL source.

I’m a bit vague on the timeline of some of these releases but 0.7b6 is definitely more feature complete than the SBG release.
